Hellamshire Restaurant in Hellam

Great local diner with an incredible menu selection. Conveniently located just off the Hallam exit of Rt. 30, it is an easy choice for a home cooked meal for the price of fast food. Soups are excellent and service was quick!!!!

We went for the Monday night special and got a surprise instead. The meal was delisous, the service friendly and made you feel welcome. This is a wonderful local eatery you need to try to believe. Large menu with lots to offer everyone. Kids meals to. It was so good I forgot to take a picture. Next time for sure.

The food was good. I ordered breakfast. We were seated quickly. Everyone was very polite. Made me feel like I was a regular customer. This was my first time visiting. Prices are very reasonable for the amout of food you get. I will visit again.

I was impressed with this diner. It has been 15 years since I last ate at this location so it probably went through an ownership change. If so, I'm glad it did. We thought that we were going to have to wait for a seat because of the crowded parking lot. But we didn't. Our waitress was king and attentive. She was dressed neatly and had a great attitude. I wish I could remember her name. Our food was hot, tasty, plentiful, and a good value for our dollar. All good qualities for a diener. The building was neat and clean inside and out.A great experience for our family and friends.

Excellent family restaurant with an incredibly full menu and prices that you would think are from at least 20 years ago. Wait staff can't do enough for you. The food is out of this world and includes many traditional Pennsylvania Dutch treats like pot pie and liver and onions (which I have not tried). plus good standard fare such as burgers and wraps. The menu lists breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can't lose taking visiting friends there. Remodeled not many years ago and is clean and well appointed.

Friendly people. Fair prices and excellent food. We were served very quickly. You get a fair portion of almost everything. Just wish there was a larger portion of home fries.

It was soo nice sitting down in restraunrant. We have been here before shut down due to virus. Very clean, cleaning as people in and out of restraurant very pleasant waitresses. Course we had to leave York and go home to Lancaster County

This restaurant is one of a kind and has an amazing caring owner! He takes pride in his business and always helping out the community! His prices on his menu are very great and affordable for a great bite! Also his servers are one of the kind and show love and care! They tend to make sure your orders are right and take the time to explain what they have. Last the chiefs in his restaurant are very great! It was a pleasure to speak to them and get to know them! This restaurant is well organized and prepared please if your in York, Pennsylvania please to be sure to give them a try you won’t regret it. Just run of the mill food, nothing apecual, cute atmosphere

Staff is on point! Very friendly and they get the job done. Quick with refills and a smile. They are attentive vice some other dining establishment's. Ordered the Tuesday special pork and saurkraut. Had a side salad which was fulfilling. Onion rings were on point and made there. Could not try desert due to being fully stuffed. Great location great staff and great food.

Roast Beef with filling and sides! Very Good my husband had Oyster pie, he said it was also very good.
